On tuesday, The Game of Thrones season 1 DVD will be released. Just under a month before season 2 begins (April 1st), theres is ample time to get caught up with what has been going down in Westeros.
The set of 5 discs also include a map of the lands of Westeros and Easteros and family trees for all the main characters in this fantasy masterpiece. This season is well worth the 50 or so dollars, and will be the first piece of the 7 part series that will span over the decade.

Game of Thrones Season 2 teaser
The long awaited Game of Thrones season two has released another teaser trailer. Set for April 2012 it has built up a captivated and loyal audience over the past year. It couldn't make George RR Martin (author) any more proud of how HBO has brought his biggest project to life. It is just a brief trailer, but at this point we will take anything we can get. A year is just a bit too long to wait.

Michael Fassbender as Robocop in 2013
It has been announced that Michael Fassbender will take on the role as Alex Murphy in Robocop in the year 2013. His stardom became prevalent in 2009 when he played the role as Archie Hicox in the Tarantino film Inglorious Bastards. Then he landed another role as Rochester in Jane Eyre right before he made his blockbuster appearance as Magneto in X-Men: First Class. Other films featuring Fassbender that will premiere this year are A Dangerous Method, and Shame.
Fassbender seems to be a great fit for the role as the cop we all know and love. But in knowing Fassbender i think he will add a little bit more ferocity to the character. With a deadly punch and a massive hand gun, Robocop will rip some throats out once again in the new millennium. And with Fassbender behind the metal, we will see a little European twist on the hero in blue. He is used to playing the intense roles of guys you don't want to mess with, and Robocop will be his biggest yet. Watch out scum, Murph is back to take you in. Dead or alive.

J. Edgar First Look
J. Edgar Hoover was one of the most important figures in American history in the 20th century. He was the first director of the Bureau of Investigation in 1924, and took credit in being one of the founders of the F.B.I. His work was of huge enormity in Americas fight against internal crime. One of his major findings was the ability to utilize fingerprints in order to catch criminals and register an authentic form of identity. He is also the founder of forensic laboratories, so you can thank him for all those hit forensic TV shows out there.
But this story is more interesting underneath. Hoover struggled with many personal problems. Secrets that had the ability to tarnish his reputation and lose his credibility in being one of the nations most sovereign leaders. Playing the role of Hoover will be Leonardo DiCaprio, which seems to be the perfect fit since this isn't his first rodeo playing a historical figure with skeletons in his closet (The Aviator, Catch Me If You Can). Also starring J.Edgar are Naomi Watts as Helen Gandy, and Josh Lucas as Charles Lindbergh.

2012 Movie, The Great Gatsby- Baz Luhrmann
One of my favorite novels of all time, a F.Scott Fitzgerald masterpiece about the American dream. A story about a rich man's chase for a woman he has always loved, and would do anything for. His chase for this woman has brought about a large conflict involved between him (Jay Gatsby), Daisy Buchanan, her husband Tom, and the Wilson couple. This conflict is seen through the eyes of Nick Carraway, a native of Minnesota who has traveled to New York to learn about the bond business. But what he learns about is the emptiness of the east coast, the emptiness of Jay Gatsby, and the vanishing of the American Dream. It is a tragedy that brings out truths about the sadness in the world stemmed from a race to riches. Fitzgerald hit on a key issue way before it's time.

Cat Woman Revealed- The Dark Knight Rises

The Dark Knight Rises is set for July 20th, 2012 as the last for Director Christopher Nolan's Batman films. Playing the role as Cat Women will be Anne Hathaway. As seen in the recently released picture of her it seems as those she will look pretty seductive riding Batman's bike. Her tight leather costume and long dark hair seem to fit the part of the original comic book she devil. And we all know Cat Woman is a ferocious and athletic female that will tear apart the face of any poor sucker that falls for her charm. But what we don't know is how well Hathaway can play the part. From her past acting experience she has played the role of the pretty ditz that can't really put a scare into the audience. Not like the previous Cat Woman Michelle Pfeiffer, who made for a criminally insane but sexy kitty out for vengeance. So in comparison, Can Hathaway match the intensity, and sex appeal of a female warrior? Come summer 2012 we will find out.

Seal Team 6 Set For October 12, 2012

On October 12th 2012 Kathryn Bigelow's new project Seal Team 6 is set to debut. It is a story behind the assassination of terrorist Osama Bin Laden. A True American story of a group of rugged Seals going into a war torn hell hole in a foreign land and putting one in between the eyes of the bad guy. Hopefully the story can be told without Stallone, Statham, and all those other ridiculous action movie heros. I am really looking forward to this movie because i know it will win an Oscar, it just has to. It is just unamerican to not award an Oscar to a project dedicated to reenacting such a historical feat. And with Bigelow behind it, there is not reason to worry. two words: Hurt Locker.
